Dr Alvaro Salas expresses Nosara’s residents mainly agree and he believes Nosara’s residents, especially the local Tico populace, are well suited to find a means of communication and solving issues.

This a brief clip from a full episode with Karl Lachner from Edica, the developer for Become Nosara, a condo and commercial area project happening in Esperanza, which is just south of Playa Guiones, in Nosara. Some of Nosara's concerned residents are accusing his project of environmental issues such as sewage and water treatment issues, Ruta 160 adjustments, the local ASADA, trees, employee living conditions, construction quality, lighting, and much more, both online and via standard small town verbal gossip. Karl’s full episode (found on this channel or at www.richburnam.com), is 47 minutes of him both hearing what Nosara’s concerned citizens are stating, then explaining his project from beginning till now, his family history dating back to the 1950’s of his father flying directly onto the beaches of Nosara & Guanacaste in general, his company’s experience, his willingness to help the local community, and intentions for both Nosara and beyond. Karl’s education is extensive (multiple degrees from Purdue University) and his experience includes water treatment plants, hotels, industrial buildings, airports, fuel farms, and more). He is offering to communicate with any and all community members so long as they communicate with respect. Will Nosara's residents be willing to listen to Karl's answers and information and intentions about every single subject which they type online and speak about throughout our community? Or perhaps speak with him with suggestions and encourage his family’s involvement in Nosara in a positive manner both now and going forward? Or will they continue to disparage (most likely with good intentions) a project they see as an evil incarnation of Nosara's new reality? Regardless of opinion, the project Become Nosara is here to stay and residential condominiums and an upcoming commercial area are happening… The social scientists who studied Nosara extensively all stated in unison Nosara’s main issue is communication amongst residents, community organizations, and government (overall between all sectors), and history shows attacking new projects viciously online and via rumors doesn’t help & actually hurt our town more than help.
